
Caitlin Doust
Health Information Specialist
Caitlin joined BCPSLS in October 2018 as Application Support & Test Analyst and became the team’s Information Management Specialist in 2019. She now provides technical support and quality assurance in reporting and is responsible for the completeness and timeliness of all adverse drug reaction reporting for the province. Caitlin upholds the regulations of the Protecting Canadians from Unsafe Drugs Act, also known as Vanessa’s Law.
Additionally, she assists the BCPSLS Central Office team in ongoing improvements to BCPSLS forms and taxonomy in pursuit of better data and enhanced user experience.
Caitlin earned a diploma in health information management from Douglas College in 2018 and has certification in HIM. She holds an active CHIMA membership to be made accountable for high quality and accurate health data stewardship.
